Default My Georgie Came Home Tonight

I picked up my boy's ashes tonight and brought him back home to us.
Thank you to everyone today who helped me walk every step. How precious our dogs are to us. Is it because we know these little characters love us ALL the time? Can people really do that? I am not sure.
That little boy was happy every day of his life. He always had a smile. He could sense when I woke up in the mornings before I even opened my eyes. He would be wagging his tail (sometimes I peeked) and licking my hand. I will miss his love so much.
Tonight I asked the vet what killed him. (It was a different vet - not the vet/owner who treated George and diagnosed Bronchitis that morning) - he dismissed the idea that it was CHF.... but then again that should have been caught in the morning. He had no other answers. The bottom line is - I was there - I knew him, his behavior and his health and CHF explains everything that happened. I think he was more concerned about the reputation of the practice than the truth. Gosh, I will be glad when this "anger stage" is over.
