Ok....so my Aunt Shirley has gotten into making dresses for her Sophie and my Shelby. She's in her 70's and has the beginning stages of alzhiemers and her dogs (Sammy and Sophie) are her world. She was having some really bad days there for a while and decided to give sewing a try and am I ever glad she has because its been a way to keep her mind on something else rather than wondering if she has forgot something or not. She makes these dresses all by hand...she says she hates a sewing machine...I told her it would be so much easier...but she insists that she can't work a sweing machine and would rather do it by hand. Anyway...me and Shelby both think she does a beautiful job.....and I feel so lucky to have her make us one of everythign she makes for her Shelby. I thought I'd share some of the pics I took of Shelby modeling her dresses tonight. We find that each one she brings over to us quicky becomes our favorite dress....LOL
