This same thing happened to Desi, thank God I was home to deal with it. She some how got her bottom jaw under her collar and it was stuck in her mouth. Which is why, if I'm going out, I take off her collar. Not to mention, stories I've heard of dog accidently strangling themselves when their collars became caught.
