I think that getting ready for the surgery is the hard part. I felt a big sigh of relief when the dr called me afterwards and even enormous relief when I got to hold him in my arms. Don't get me wrong, the recovery time is difficult but knowing that it is for the better is getting me through it. Plus I get to really spoil him.
Good luck with Meaty's surgery. That is great that you can bring him to work after. I am at home all the time and I couldn't imagine what it would be like if I had to leave, especially the first few days. No way! I will send good thoughs and prayers for a safe and quick surgery. Keep us updated.
