Hi everyone! I have great news. drum roll please*****
TOBY has begun to walk******. He began by simply getting up, and now he is walking. He walks with some difficulty, nonetheless, I am thrilled. He is eating well and tolerating soft food. the hydrotherapy in the bathrub seems to have helped him sith his legs. I am still not sure if he can hear, and I suspect that he may have regained some vision, but I am not sure. We have even heard him bark a couple of times in the last week. He also likes to be out of his exerciser and walk on the grass. He is still a little thinner than he should be, but I am sure that I can get the weight on him in time. Over the weekend, he even began cuddling with me in my bed as he did before this accident. My vets are very happy that he is doing so well and they think this recovery is quicker than they originally thought it might be. I am trying to be realistic, but I am so happy my baby is doing so well. It really has been a rough few weeks...and I could not have done it without all of the support from all of you at YORKIETALK...you have all been great...I will continue to post updates but I always want to be sure to thank all of you! betty Ps I am going to try to post some videos/pictures asap...as soon as I have a little bit of extra time!
