 Rose update
Rose's first week of school was hard work. She had two days of before-school outpatient therapy at the rehabilitation center, plus all five days of school. She had some eyestrain issues and a few headaches. She is starting to work with a visual therapist this week to address the left field block or deficit.
Rose has an associate who helps her through her day-to-day activities at school, so that's been huge. She seems to be happier about being home and being with her siblings now.
Rose's classmates were sweet enough to wear helmets to school the second day. That sure was special for Rose!
This week will include a re-check with the neurosurgeon, which the parents are looking forward to -- since he hasn't seen Rose since late-January. |
