Omg Never judge a book by its cover!

Hello Everyone

I would like to say that alot of you here are being judgmental and pointing fingers on assumptions only. There is always 2 sides to a story. Do not judge a book by its cover. You may find out that you were actually wrong about this place and Diane.

Alot of you are making reports based on what exactly? Pics posted on a website? Have you had your own personal negative incident with this shelter or lady running it??? That you can back up your theory.

Be careful that because of your ignorance and lack of information you actually ruin the possibilities of so many pets finding loving homes in the future because you think you did something good.

I recently adopted 2 puppies from Diane and let me tell you I was so hesistant and undecided especially because they are out of state and the cost of shipping, etc... I was afraid it may have been a scam and that I wasn't educated enough to know. From so many shelters I found through petfinder.com that I had either called or emailed regarding a particular pet she was the one that replied right away, and let me tell you I emailed it like 10 times a day asking her all kind of questions and concerns. She was always honest and even referred me to a yahoo group of created by people who have adopted from her over the years and their stories, updates, concerns, etc.... She said I can join and ask any questions I want which I did and the outcome was more than I had expected. So many people shared their experience and feedback and it was all POSITIVE. Many of them have adopted pets from her more than once over the years because of how satisfied they were with what they got and seen. Some of them have even adopted more than one pet. Alot of these pets being adopted are already grown too. Not all pets are babies.

I was one of the person's who adopted from her this weekend in IL and let me tell you there were over 10 people there waiting for their adopted pets. Many of these pets were already grown, not all were babies, not all were perfect, some were even cats, big dogs, small dogs, puppies. EVERYTHING WAS DONE LEGIT.

Today, I am still waiting to hear from other shelters I had contacted who have not even bother answering an email nor returning a phone call. On top of that during my search for a pet (we wanted a rescued pet) before finding petsneedingpeople.com all rescue shelters I found in Illinois, IN and even WI their fees were just about the same as petsneedingpeople.com and in some of them even more, alot more. and these were shelters closer to me.

So the website may not be a non-profit org, maybe not yet, that does take alot of work but they are at least state licensed and that should count for something.

Some of the pics may not look their best but did you ever stop to think that when pets are being rescued from death row, puppy mills or wherever they come from they aren't exactly at the best time in their lives. Why sugar coated and make them look all nice and groomed just to appeal more people? These pets are being rescued from all kinds of neglect, reject and abuse and even death row they need someone to love them at their worst not at their best only. Who cares what they look like when they first arrive at the ranch, how about the positive outcome, of when they're placed in a loving home??? Isn't that what its all about? The fees of rescuing them are about the same fees all shelters I came across are asking and even less than most.

Another thing the people that have adopted from Diane know exactly what they are getting, what that pet's needs are, why they are there, do they need special attention, are they ill, etc.... and some of them still want these pets.

Who cares about the adoption application, so she is more flexible than most places, she is more concern about finding these pets home with good people. Maybe the answers she gets in these applications is all she needs to know to make up her mind as to who is deserving of one of these pets. A more complicated application does not necessarily mean pet will get a better home. On top probably many people will get rejected for stupid reasons. If you are committing to loving the pet and give him a good home what else does Diane need to know???

Stop being so judgmental and get your facts straight before you are choosing to destroy other' puppies possibilities of good homes because you are blinded by your lack of information. This is not about what you think is right, this is about what is right about the pets needing people and homes.

Some of these pets may not look good in a picture but think about where they were rescued from. They were not rescued from a Spa, they were most rescued from death row and abusive care-givers. It is common sense they are not looking their best, that is why pets need people to nurture and love them back to health. They wouldn't need rescuing if they were nothing wrong with most of them, would they?

Who do you think is right here? Those of you who know nothing about Diane nor her shelter and are going only on assumptions and unfounded at that or the people who have actually adopted pets from her over the years and not only once but twice some even 3, 4 times over the last years. Shouldn't their experience be proof enough that whatever she is been doing works. That whatever she is doing IS NOT FISHY. Why would people continue coming back?

Please stop being judgmental and making someone guilty without probable cause. The only ones you will hurt at the end is those pets needing people.

I have seen some Ads for supposedly rescued Yorkies asking for $300, $600 and even more. How different are they than petsneedingpeople.com
who's to say they're not the ones trying to make profit. How legit are they?..................

Before you are going to make a decision to report people all over the place make sure you hear and find out all the facts before sentencing someone. Join the Yahoo Group and hear from people who like myself have adopted from Diane, find out about the pets that were rescued and how they are doing. Check out the after pictures of these pets and then only then make a decision BASED ON FACTS AND NOT ASSUMPTIONS.
