I have the *worst* dry skin on my hands during this time of the year. It's actually painful to type because my skin is so messed up! This is the worst it's been in years, and I've about had it!

Does anyone know of any *really* good hand lotion? What different kinds have you tried? Does it vary with different skin types? Are the results long lasting or does it only work as long as you keep using it?

ETA: also, as money is tight right now (though I WILL spend money to get good hand lotion!), does anyone know of any home remedies? Even if they're not long lasting, just something to help a bit?
