Annie, bless her heart, tried really hard to use the wee-wee pads, but more times then not she'd miss. One day I saw her pottying and saw what the problem was. Her front feet, shoulders and head were 'on' the pad, but her bum wasn't.
So she
thought she was on the pad and doing the right thing, she just didn't realize the
business end wasn't on the pad.
Now Gracie won't use the pad if it has more then 3 spots already on it. For all her love of rolling in the mud and eating yucky things that she digs up, she quite prissy about where she'll potty.
So maybe it's a combo of the two.
