My landlord bought a puppy from petland a couple weeks ago, but she did it because it was about to die, she couldn't walk away so she got him for only around $1-200 I can't remember but it was extremely low for Petland and she took him to the vet immediately and made Petland pay all the vet bills which was a couple thousand. I was surprised Petland actually paid them that quick but they didn't argue it at all. I'm just glad that poor baby is ok. I don't support them at all, I don't go into Petland anymore now that I know about them but i'm glad my landlord walked in there that day, It breaks my heart to hear how they treat the animals, that's why I stay out of there so I don't see it, I would go broke buying all the puppies that are sick and trying to fix them.
