Poor guy!
All of my boys (for the past 35 years or so) have been neutered. If they don't have dangly parts, there's nothing to get rubbed - so I guess that's why I never considered it.
At any rate, it looks like it would be painful (I know what my knees felt like!), so I hope the cream helps.
