I have 3 cats (always had cats) Now is the time to get kitty used to having her nails done, you just need to take the tips off, you can use people nail clippers I do, also start getting her used to using a post ( old rug, even a log will do) But sometimes you will get a kitty that will make bread on you forever, I had one that did that till the day she died so doing her nails helped. Also for your chairs and things I use clear tape, cats don't like the feel of the tape and you can't see the tape much on the chair. Keeps my home from looking like a cat house
