I have two dogs that have had Giardia. Both had as puppies. You do not need to treat your other dogs as long as you clean up the infected poop right away. The other dogs can contract Giardia by eating or licking the infected poop. Giardia also comes from dirty water, such as puddles or gutter water. It is very common in puppies. Make sure you give your dog all the meds prescribed. You can get it too so make sure you wash your hands after handling any poop. Its also a good idea to use baby wipes on your dog after he/she goes.
