We had our puppy on Medi-Cal dog food since we got him and when that ran out we switched him to Iams Smart Puppy when he was about 5.5 months old. It is exactly one month later and he has been having diarrhea almost since. At first we thought he drank bad water when we went camping but after the vet and pills it wasn't getting any better. We switched back to the Medi-Cal formula and hopefully he will get better soon. While we were at the vet buying the new stuff a lady waiting for the vet said her yorkie puppy did the same thing. I personally wouldn't recommend it.
