I don't know if the weight is normal or not, but I think yorkies and maltese are pretty similar in size (?) so, maybe that could be used as a benchmark? My little milu was 1.7 lbs when she was 12 weeks old, and last time she was weighed she was 2.7 lbs at 6 months. I would definitely feed her as much as I can (if she doesnt' like to eat) as not to stunt her growth.
