the only recourse that you would have would be to take them to court, but if they no longer have the dog it won't do much good.
Did you see the Ellen show where she had a rescue dog that she gave to someone else and the rescue shelter went and took the dog back? They had a clause that said she was not allowed to give it or sell it to anyone else. but the only reason that they knew about it was because she told on the show that she had done that. |
this is very true and yes i heard about ellen... I would be afraid that I'd be thought of as a monster if i were to take the dog from another family but I'm just so close to the puppies that I want to be able to know the family and watch them grow up as well. We didn't breed my dog to just breed her and I still don't know if i'll have it in me to give up the pups but if I do, I want to make sure that I can still get updates on the dog frequently.
