I hesitated to put this info on the site because on another site it got way too
heated and yet I feel people should know when people are making some
head-way. I believe because of bad owners way back in a dog's pedigree
a sweet dog today can turn at any moment.
Toronto: Ontario on Monday became the first province in Canada to ban the
pit bull after vicious attacks by some pits. The measure makes Illegal to
breed pit bulls or bring the dogs into the province. Those allowed in Ontario will be allowed to stay, provided they're spayed, and leashed and muzzled in
public. Owners who violate the law face up to six months in jail.
This article is a long one and to make a long one short , one man said "I'll
just move" That's why we have to stop purchasing these dogs and other
dogs that man has made to protect them. How about purchasing a
"security system" Duh!!! The end of the article said Pit bulls already are banned in some Canadian cities, including Kitchener, Windsor and Winnipeg, In the United States, pit bulls are banned in Denver, Miami and Cincinnati.
