constructive criticism is welcomed | I think that you probably are a great breeder and just because a mix that you may be breeding doesn't have a "standard" right now doesn't mean you aren't a good breeder. HOW DO YOU PEOPLE THINK WE HAVE ALL THESE DIFFERENT BREEDS OF DOGS? Because Breeders, with a "Breeding Program" chose to mate their best dogs of different breeds together and purposely obtain a new breed. And, if the yorkipoo is perfect to you, then you should continue in your efforts to breed the best YorkiPoos ever!
Cross breeding is beneficial because you may actually be a pioneer of a totally new breed! Wouldn't that be something to be proud of! Crossing is good too because it breaks up the bloodlines even better than a sound pure bred Yorkshire Terrier breeding program . There is no way the two dogs share an ounce of dna! (***every single breed we have today came from the mix of another old breed. Remember all dogs came from one original animal The Wolf ...someone had to do some mixing of some sort!)
