 Grooming and other things
I forgot to mention that I take Seleena to PetSmart for her grooming. If she's just getting a bath, I take her to the one by my house (Slaughter and I-35). If she's getting a full groom, I take her to the PetSmart that's in the Mueller Development (off of I-35 and Airport). She's goes to Carmen. I took her to the PetSmart by my house for a full groom, and I just wasn't too satisfied. The PetSmart with Carmen is close to my work, and she seems to have fun there. Since I can bring Seleena to work, I'll make an appointment during a weekday and take her there. Usually it takes two-ish hours to complete (for her summer cut), and the last time I went to pick her up, Carmen had her out in the grooming area, playing with her and holding her. Seeing that made me feel better, since I hate the thought of Seleena being stuck in a cage until I pick her up.
I don't know if we can talk about other groups on here, so my apologies if we can't (I'm still new), but there's a Meetup group in Austin for yorkie owners. I just joined it, and there's a meetup scheduled in September. PM me if you'd like more information. |
