When we just had one Yorkie (Archie), he and our cherry head conure (Buddy) were best friends. Archie would sit in the recliner and Buddy would fly over to him. He would clean Archie's teeth and Archie would lick him. It was so funny. Our vet once asked us how we kept Archie's teeth so clean. We told her we did nothing, the bird did it. That all stopped when we added to our Yorkie family as a couple of them would try to go after Buddy. We also had an African Grey but we re-homed her as they really require more time than I was able to give her. We still have Buddy and a Moluccan Cockatoo named Floyd. You outta hear it when we come home and the dogs are barking, Buddy's squawking and Floyd lets out screeches that would wake the dead.

You have a MOLUCCAN!!! Call us crazy, but that's the next animal my husband and I would like to add to our family. Not until we move out of our townhouse though. Our neighbors would kill us!.
