Some years ago a breeder/friend took a $500 deposit on a bitch we co-owned...she refused to return it when the buyers husband had a stroke. I returned the money myself, told the buyer I would deal with the co-owner..and it bought me such good will..my grooming/boarding business went through the roof...and so did the requests for my puppies. You can not buy a good reputation...well, I guess that is not true..it cost me $500..LOL

I agree with that completely....


But, with most breeders, they would not refund just because you changed your mind. At least, waiting until the pup sells....and then refunding....
