I am definetely no expert, but I think that it can take up to 8 mths for them to both drop. I took my pup in last week to be neutered and he was cryptoid, one did not drop, and he was 10 mths. The vet said it probably wasn't going to drop, and it was possibly hereditary and could be passed on through him if I had decided to breed him, (which was never going to happen anyhow.) But I think it is to early for your pup, he still has time.
