My daughter's yorkie has had one heat cycle and that was last november. She has been licking herself for the last week and a half but no blood or swelling, but my boy was acting real interested a couple of days ago, as was the rest of my yorkie family including the girls. Have we missed it? she is here now but he doesen't seem interested anymore. She isn't a stranger to my dogs,so I figured she was comming into heat. My friend who worked for the vet for 20 yrs says sometimes they may not bleed a lot. Any help would be appreciated. I hope we haven't missed it, cause she was really wanting to breed her.
