I personally I lost a beautiful 9month old puppy to anesthesia in an attempt to fix a broken leg. Anything can happen with living creatures as well as People ! |
The reason the person did the BAT tests on her puppies is because many people had told her that was what she should do. At the time she did not know the dangers involved in drawing blood from the jugular. She thought she was doing the right things. Many vets don't do BAT testing or do not recommend it because they know very little about LS. Most vets will run a standard blood panel on a dog and if the blood comes back bad then they will just recommend a special diet for the dog or refer you to a specialist. I am so sorry that you lost your baby, that was tragic.
