I have been going round and round for months with eating problems with my dog. Ever since I brought my puppy home he would not eat. The breeder had him on Science Diet but he picked at it. I have tried at least 5 different brands down to putting those gravy's on them and chicken broth. The wet foods gave them the runs. I was even told by several people if you just leave the food there when he get hungry enough and he will eat. WRONG. He went 4 days with nothing and I got scared and he was so thin and had some diarera. I made him some chicken noodle soup. He ate it all and ever since then I have been cooking his food and I have seen the biggest difference in him. His coat is very shiny and not dull like it was, He eats, his energy level up. He is the biggest he has ever been even though I still think he is to thin but he eats and when he is full he walks way from his food. I was told their stomach is only the size of an apricot so it doesn't take that much to fill them up. My dogs favorite is ham & brown rice w/ carrots. My kids laughed because they say I feed the dogs better than them. They walk in and I am cooking they say is that for us or the dogs. I wish I could find a dog food that my dog would eat because I don't always have time to cook for them. So if anyone knows of a good food let me know.
