oh man i feel your pain.. pebbles jumped off my bed the other day... it is over 27 inches high & she is only 2 pounds 12 ounces... MY HEART SKIPPED!! i was like "NOOOooOOO!!!" I saw it in slow motion--but she was fine. i just purchased some stairs today for the bed even though they were really expensive... they should get here in a few days
