She actually is showing you respect by not jumping all over you and in your face. I know that seems "backward," but she jumps all over people, licks them, etc because she is confused about her place in the pack with regards to them.
Start implementing rules for everyone to follow, like she must be sitting to get attention, everyone needs to have a hand in her care, etc.
Consider yourself lucky...a lot of people whose dogs go koo koo over them have dogs that suffer from severe separation anxiety when their owners are gone...not a good thing either!!!! |
