Hi Laura - Welcome to Yorkie Talk. It would certainly be wonderful to have a vet at this forum. I think we can all agree wholeheartedly on that point.
That said, I think you'll find that YT members are quite passionate about yorkies, dogs, and animals in general. One subject that (clearly) elicits a lot of controversy here is responsible breeding. A subjective matter, yes, but a subject that is dear to many of the members. Because you breed so many types of dogs, because you advertise all over the U.S., and because you're a vet who, instead of working to decrease the pet population, is increasing the pet population - you may find yourself defending your practices here.
I'm not saying you have to - I'm just desribing the environment into which you've jumped. I want you to feel welcome to participate - but I want you to know and expect that many may disagree with your breeding program. So, just be prepared for some healthy debate! This is a very passionate, animal loving forum!!
