Does he go inside the crate? He should not be going inside the crate. The crate is suppose to be his "den" his home. My sister in law did the paper training. Once she got good at peeing and pooing on it all the time she gradually drug it to the door she wanted her doggy to go to. Then once it got to the door and the doggy went there everytime she took it away. Then she knew when her doggy needed to potty because it was at the door searching for her paper, and she would take her outside to potty. I hope this helps!
