my boyfriend had a a cyst on the top of his hand; I think from playing video games for too long. He was all freaked out about it; and we went to visit my mom. My mom knew exactly what it was and had a large cook book sitting on her counter...she told him "let me see that; lay your hand flat." and when he did she SLAMMED his hand with the book. It got rid of it.
He said the book didn't really hurt because he had no idea it was coming.
