Donna, I hope you change your mind later on but your position is completely understandable....I'm not a breeder but I do enjoy reading the responses from the veterans who are actually dedicated to doing the best they can and are willing to share all they have encountered, the good and the bad, to hopefully benefit someone else......

There is no doubt that this section has the most heated threads and that really should be expected, this section is the heavyweight department of the forum...This is like the trauma center of the hospital.....it's not going to always be pleasant....

I'm always saddened when I see a thread started with someone breeding and if it's clear to me, a non-breeder, that this person should not be breeding or at least not yet, I get frustrated myself.....

When the main focus here has to depend on not being rude but on being polite, and the information giving has become secondary, it really makes it difficult to make an impression on the poster of the importance of what they need to hear.....

It's more of: I can tell you what you want to hear but I really should be telling you what you need to hear....The truth isn't always nice to hear, when someone is brutally honest, it comes as a slap in the face and then it's said, your being rude....which can be used as a defensive mechanism or a manipulation.....Granted there are some posters who do get rude but it usually comes from their irritation and frustration that the poster is refusing to even consider the information given... then why ask for Pete's sake.....

If a few people have tried to post the correct info in a polite way but it is not penetrating then sometimes bluntness is in order, blunt but not abusive, hostile, or insulting.....that would be rude......
