Man, that sounds harsh!!! So were you guys harassed for being in band?? Or did you just kinda "band" together and to heck what everyone else thought? My daughter was a band geek. And
very proud of it!! Played trumpet solos at football games and everything. Her marching band was very successful all 4 years. BTW, more successful than the football or basketball teams. The band qualified for state finals 3 years. Her senior year they came in 3rd in state. A great accomplishment for a pi**-poor little country school!
