No - you don't need to. I just wondered - because some people mix the 2 together when they have a picky eater.
Just go to your local independantly owned Pet Store - they usually carry some of the better dog foods. Mine love Innova & Canidae.
Canidae is for All life Stages (puppy & adult). Innova has a great puppy food!
