My husband and daughter and I took a trip to the mall today and we took our Tucker in my bag. I've done this many times and have run around town with him tucked in and I've never have had any problems. Well, we have been giving him extra treats lately because we have been teaching him sit and also have been trying to get him to go down the stairs on his own. He has a pretty sensitive system and I guess we over did it. I'm sure you can guess what happened at the mall. We were in a music store and Tucker started freaking out trying to get out which is not normal for him at all. Then I smelled this lovely rotton smell coming from my bag. He had vomited and had diarhea all in my bag!
Since I'm not suppossed to have a dog in the mall, I had to quickly run out of there all the while avoiding two women from kiosk stores trying to sell me things! When I got outside I removed him from my bag and let him go potty and dumped as much poo from my purse as possible. I happened to have a blanket in the car I could wrap him up in for the ride home. Poor little guy. I think we'll be cutting down on treats and leaving him home when he's not allowed somewhere
