We got our first yorkie - Roxie - when she was 2 yrs old. she came from a bad home situtation and we were her first family that ever really loved her or took care of her. We lost our 8-yo dalmatian shortly after so, we loved the yorkie breed so much that we got her a little brother - MAX. She hated him. Hated him terribly. She became a horrible little creature. she bit and snapped at him and then started to totally regress and began peeing all over my house. She also started snipping at my 6-yr little girl. This went on for several weeks when we decided it was too much. We ended up finding Roxie a new home with no dogs and no children. (she is much happier where she is now)

After a few months MAX became very "needy". He was so sad. Even though Roxie was mean to him I think he thought she was playing all the time. He really needed a playmate.....so MILO came to live with us. Milo and Max are half brothers (same father). WOW, what a difference. These two loved each other from day one. I don't know if it was becuase they are both male or becuase they were close in age (3 months apart)....but whatever it is they are inseperable.

I think it was the best thing we ever did for Max and I cannot imagine one w/o the other. Would do it all over again - and probably will. We would like to get a little girl next year but have the same reservations about getting a third ??? Time will tell...
