It's just not something that interests everyone out there. There are lots of things that come with showing that are major turnoffs to some people. The travel, the training, the upkeep of a show coat
alone is a full time job! Not to mention the time involved--not to say that breeding isn't time consuming, but when you add shows as well, it puts it at a whole other level. That doesn't mean that their goals in breeding is anything other than to produce quality dogs, they just don't choose to show them is all.
