I have never heard of Ross stores either. But I never take my dogs into a store other than a pet store. I just assume that they are not allowed. Once I took them in Hobby Lobby but I felt funny because I have never seen anyone else the stores with a dog. No one asked me to leave but the store personnel ignored me and the dogs. I felt like they didn't like it but they didn't want to tell me to leave. I got the same thing in a hardware store once. After that I quit taking them in stores. I also went to an outdoor flea market that had a sign that stated NO DOGS ALLOWED INCLUDING DOGS IN STROLLERS. That was OUTSIDE! I think the reasoning is that if you let small dogs in, you have to let big dogs in too to be fair and the store does not want the liability of a dog bite or damage to merchandise. Also some customers might be allegic to dogs. |
I've taken Lacy to Hobby Lobby several times in College Station. I take her to JoAnn's here too and they all just love her there. I don't know if I've ever taken her in a Ross store...probably but I can't remember for sure.
