I had other breeds before... a boy maltese and a girl shih-tzu. When I finally got the yorkie, I decided they were the best breed for me. The other two I gave away for adoption because I was younger and wasn't responsible enough
. I didn't put in time to train them and they became wild... so I had a cousin adopt my maltese and a nice lady that owns an acre adopted my shih-tzu.
I would say if not a yorkie... any small, long haired dogs =)
