My Yorkie, Heidi, was born in february 1993 and passed away in may this year.
I got my new baby girl, Pixie, 3 weeks ago.
The other day i got both their pedigrees out to compare....and found out they are related!!! it was such a surprise!
Heidi's grandmother on her mothers side, also appears in Pixie's pedigree.
Heidi's Great Grandfather, mothers side, is one of my breeders dogs as she uses the same prefix for all of her dogs and this dog appears in Pixie's pedigree all the way back to her Gt Gt Gt Grandparents!
Also, two of Heidi's Gt Gt Grandparents, mothers side, are from Pixie's breeder.
I had no idea about this till just the other day!
