I see numerous post on the subject of strangers coming up a yorkie owner and making statement about
: weight, color, size, cost, etc. and then the owner getting so upset that at times it borders on being absolutely furious....
I have never felt this much emotion over an off comment...as soon as I leave the situation it's forgotten about and I'm off doing my business..
You seem to have handled the nosy question perfectly fine w/o giving away your person business, and good for you.
...now just chalk the comments up to "they just didn't know any better and/or they left their manners at home" and enjoy your outing
