I've taken them away but I have not thrown them away. They are in a bag in the closet. All the toys that were in their toy box were toys that they've had for months so if there was anything wrong with them, they've already licked and played with them.
I want to see what happens with all of this recall nonsense because that article only mentioned specific toys from walmart that had toxic levels of lead and metals--not ALL toys made in China. I don't want to risk the babies' health so I'm going to see what happens. Who knows--this may create a domino effect, as it did with all of the food recalls--but it may not. I'm curious to see what happens.
I hope I don't offend anyone in saying this but I personally think that we, as Americans, should start boycotting things made in China and other places where there are no regulations in how things are manufactured. It's not just in the pet industry--children's toys, cribs, etc. are also being recalled. THIS IS CRAZY!

I personally would rather pay more for something made in the USA or from somewhere where I know the regulations are more strict. At least I would have the peace of mind knowing that whatever I'm using is not killing me or any of my family members
