Sorry but a reputable breeder would not do this, sell the same puppy for pet or for $300 more for breeding.
The first Yorkie I bought with the hopes of showing and breeding was this kind of deal. I was as green as grass at the time and didn't know any better.
She was 4 mos old when I bought her and she would make a 'great show dog' as all the sellers dogs were show dogs but she doesn't show because it is too political. Boy did I ever get taken.
This little pup was not even close to a show dog, ended up too small to consider for breeding, had a cute 'pixie face' breeders description which I didn't know was because she was very overshot and therefore really should not be used for breeding, had a crablegged rear and a poor front which I guess balanced each other so she did have a straight topline but no neck and was soft coated, very short legged. Oh and she had some sort of genetic teeth problem and I had to have the front teeth between the canines removed at 18 mos as they suddenly went brown and were rotting.
She was a nice pet but certainly never should have been sold for breeding for $300 more. That was in 1992 when I bought her. she did live a good life died at 14 years.
