judy, a couple of my pups have been given a fourth shot by the new vet who said that the one I gave them at six weeks was only considered a temporary one. I know some of the latest info out there says to wait until eight weeks to give the first puppy shot. sorry, with all the parvo and stuff so prevelant, i am not waiting. i just read the thread above yours and got up off my butt and gave my six weeks old babies their first puppy shot. many years ago, my husband lost an entire litter of beagle puppies to parvo. it is devastating. |
