 Yorkie killed a rat ....
I have 2 yorkie they will be 3 years old in late december, they only got all the shots the breeder told me to get them when I bought them at the store. They are akc registered and such, I got them rabies shots after 4 months I believe. Since then I haven't bring them to the vet or gave them any shots. Today my brother found out they got into the basement and killed a old rat. Looks like there was a little dry blood on the floor. They seem fine right now but I'm planning to take them to the vet when I get off tommorow. Does anyone have any similar situation like mine or can offer me any advice. I'm afraid they can catch rabies from this incident. Thank you for your help. |
