Of course YOU can help him. You didn't do anything wrong, you just didn't know what more to do. A good trainer can certainly help you with this. I would be concerned if he was biting people and family members. That doesn't seem to be the case. He just needs to learn that barking at people and other dogs isn't acceptable. I'm not going to try to tell you how to correct it, the trainer will. Hang in there........you're already on the right track - knowing that you want to change it and you will!! Just remember, sometimes you have to use tough love. Good luck and let us know what you do next. Call that trainer today! |
