Hi and welcome to YorkieTalk! We, too, had that problem with Toto. We had great success by first teaching the "stay" command. After that, if she ran out the door, we put her in her X-pen and made her stay. Now, anytime we tell her to stay, she immediately drops to the floor and obeys!!
