I don't think that she is lying. I think that Tahoe really is hers and that he really is paralyzed. I think that she is just looking to bring another Yorkie into her home.
BUT, if you don't have the monetary resources to pay for Tahoe's care then you should not buy another Yorkie at this time. If you have just received some money (like maybe from a tax refund) then you should set it aside for Tahoe's care. He will continue to need medical care and that costs $$$.
In addition, a puppy will really cause a lot of stress to an adult Yorkie. I know that you already have another Yorkie currently, but bringing a new dog into the household is completely different especially a puppy. Tahoe needs his rest and shouldn't be stressed out with a new puppy in the home. Since he's paralyzed, he wouldn't even be able to walk away from the puppy.
Imagine poor little Tahoe laying there while a puppy chews on him unable to get away
Please think about Tahoe before you decide to get another one.
