I have both, but my male was my first. He is the most loving sweetest little guy in the world! He just adores me and the feeling is mutual! I have a little girl now and she is MUCH more independent, only a lap dog when she decides. I have no marking issues at all with Tino. He uses potty pads in the house and he squats. He's never listed and he;s never marked. He humps his one duck and thats it. He was neutered and nothing changed... still never lifts that leg and still goes on the pads with no problem.
If he's going to be the only dog in the house then he wouldnt really have reason to make since thats a sign of dominance. I say get the boy baby himn for a year and then a little girl! Its worked out like a dream for me! Good luck! |
