If it's really thin and foamy, I've had this tons of times with my little one. It's generally bile that they throw up when their tummies get empty. if she doesn't want to eat on her own , you have to find a way to make her eat. Pay with her food, pretend it's a treat, put a teeny sprinkle of parmesan on it, feed her cooked hamburger and rice if nothing else. Is it happpening just in the morning ? Pay attention to when it happens in relation to the last time she's been fed. By adult yorkie gets 4 mini meals a day to make sure this doesn't happen. Sometimes if she absolutely refuses to eat put a dab of honey, corn syrup or nutrical in her mouth...that should perk her up enough that she will eat after if you coax her....good luck! |
