this is what i have done with maggie...and I would scold "no bite" EVERY time. once in a while she will try to bite playfully but all I have to do now is say "no bite" and she starts giving kisses. it's like she is saying "I'm sorry momma, I didn't mean to, honest!!". she is so sweet. but the consistency of holding down when she bites and saying "no bite" very firmly has really done the trick. and it didn't take long at all for her to catch on.
